 Dr. Monte Wentz


Dr. Wentz is a native of Concordia. He graduated from Kansas State University in 1994 and the University of Missouri St. Louis School of Optometry in 1999. He has been practicing in Concordia and Salina since graduation.

Dr. Wentz currently chairs the Concordia Downtown Christmas Lighting Committee, serves as the chairman of the Brown Grand Board of Directors, serves as the chairman of the Community Foundation for Cloud County Bard of Governors, and serves on the United Methodist Health Ministries board.  He was recognized by the Concordia Chamber of Commerce as the 2010 Business Person of the Year.  He also served for 10 years on the Cloud County Health Center Board of Directors, including four years as Chairman.

Dr. Wentz and his wife, Nancy, are active members of the First United Methodist Church in Concordia. In their free time, they enjoy building renovation projects and traveling.
